Model 802 Deep Water Submersible Tiltmeter Series
The Model 802 DeepWater Series is the fully submersible cousin of our Model 801 Tuff Tilt Series. Performance features are the same, but the DeepWater housing is machined from a solid piece of 316 stainless steel and incorporates a high-pressure neoprene connector. The pressure rating is 250 bars (2500 meters depth). Higher-pressure versions may be special ordered. Temperature rating is governed by the neoprene connector. Wider temperature range is available with other connector types. Units are available in a variety of configurations including single axis (uniaxial), or dual-axis (biaxial), analog, digital, or 4-20mA outputs.
Model 850 MEMS Tuff Tilt Series
This geotechnical MEMS tiltmeter is available in uniaxial and biaxial configurations. It presents a robust and rugged design for outdoor geotechnical use, but with the benefit of low-cost MEMS technology and ±5VDC, 0-5 VDC, or 4-20 mA output signals. It is an effective tilt sensing solution for platform leveling/positioning, structural monitoring, construction monitoring, industrial machinery positioning, radial gate measurement & control.

Tulip SC 4-20mA Signal Conditioning Card
The Tulip-SC is a precision 4-20mA signal conditioning card for use with all Jewell Instruments miniature tilt sensors. Each TulipSC card operates one single-axis tilt sensor. Tilt output is measured as a 4-20mA output. The Tulip-SC is current loop-powered, so measurements can be made over long cable lengths using an economical 2-wire pair. Units also come with an onboard thermistor for measuring temperature.
Jewell provides factory calibration for all Tulip-SC electronics when ordered with our 84053 and 84064 Ceramic, or Model 755- and 756– miniature tilt sensors.
755 & 756 Miniature Tilt Sensors
755- and 756-Series Miniature Tilt Sensors contain one or two of our electrolytic tilt transducers in a solid stainless steel or aluminum housing, with holes for vertical or horizontal mounting. These are the same high-precision sensors that we use in our 500– and 700-Series tiltmeters. Several of the models are available in vacuum-compatible versions designed for minimal outgassing under high-vacuum conditions. Two options are available, the high-gain 755-Series and mid-range 756-Series. Typical applications for these compact modules include X-ray mirrors, telescope mounts, wind tunnel models, and medical devices. The sensors may be operated at a distance (cable length) up to 100m from their Jewell Instruments signal conditioner.
