Model A800P Portable Tiltmeter
The Model 800P Portable Tiltmeter is a versatile and accurate hand-held instrument for monitoring structural and foundation movement. Measurements are taken from tilt plates that have been cemented or bolted to any horizontal or vertical surface. Indexing bars on the bottom and sides of the tiltmeter enable you to reposition it accurately on the tilt plate, every time. When continuous monitoring is not required, Model 800P is an excellent choice because only one tiltmeter is needed to make measurements at an unlimited number of points.
The Portable Tiltmeter System includes one tiltmeter, one power and display unit, and a tough plastic carrying case. Ceramic or Aluminum Tilt plates are purchased separately.

The Clinometer Pak 420 is the packaged version of our Tulip 4-20 mA clinometer. Its rugged aluminum enclosure provides mechanical and environmental protection for indoor or outdoor use. This uniaxial instrument is current loop-powered, so measurements can be made over long cables using an economical 2-wire pair. It also measures temperature using a built-in thermistor. Use it to monitor the angular position of conveyers, booms, ramps, and machinery; perform antenna tilt error corrections; and track the pitch and roll of ships, buoys, ROVs, and towfish.
Model 802 Deep Water Submersible Tiltmeter Series
The Model 802 DeepWater Series is the fully submersible cousin of our Model 801 Tuff Tilt Series. Performance features are the same, but the DeepWater housing is machined from a solid piece of 316 stainless steel and incorporates a high-pressure neoprene connector. The pressure rating is 250 bars (2500 meters depth). Higher-pressure versions may be special ordered. Temperature rating is governed by the neoprene connector. Wider temperature range is available with other connector types. Units are available in a variety of configurations including single axis (uniaxial), or dual-axis (biaxial), analog, digital, or 4-20mA outputs.
Model CSG-3000 Concrete Strain Gauge
Dynamic concrete strain gauges measure axial strain in the concrete under high frequency (dynamic) conditions. Utilizing four active elements of a Wheatstone bridge circuit, this concrete strain gauge compensates for temperature, rejects bending strain (may also be configured to measure bending and reject axial strains), compensates for lead resistance, and provides a sensor that is easily adaptable to most data acquisition systems without requiring additional signal conditioning. Owing to their low profile design, these sensors can be used in concrete pavements, columns, walls, bridge elements or wherever dynamic strains need to be measured. Each sensor is provided with end washers and nuts and is individually calibrated and supplied with fabrication quality-control documentation.
LILY Self-Leveling Borehole Tiltmeter
Using a high-precision electrolytic tilt sensor, units deliver resolutions to 5 nano radians; the dynamic range is ±330 µradians. Units also feature a ±10 deg. leveling range for easy installation downhole. Output is RS-232 or RS-422 (RS-485 full-duplex) and includes timestamp and compass bearing. Data can be saved to file externally or to LILY’s on-board flash memory (75,000 sample max) using fill/stop or cyclic memory modes.
Units are fully submersible to 3000 psi. Titanium is also available for +5000 psi applications. The culmination of over 30 years of tilt sensor experience and expertise, the LILY represents the pinnacle in precision sensor engineering.
Model 711-2 & A716-2
The models A711-2 (floor-mount), and A716-2 (wall-mount) bolt or clamp to any surface, and are well suited for areas with heavy traffic or vibration. Electronic performance is identical to the model A701-2. Floor-mount models are available with a weatherproof NEMA 4X seal (A711-2 4X), or with an RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 digital output (D711). D711 units also include onboard memory with a storage capacity of up to 22,000 samples. Units include two switchable gains and two low-pass filter settings and are sensitive to <0.1 µrad. Applications include volcano monitoring, high-precision geotechnical engineering, bridge deflection monitoring, precision metrology, radar platform leveling, and high-accuracy tilt monitoring applications where bolt-on installations are required.
