Jewell DE Series – Moving Iron
The moving iron panel meters, DE 48/72/96/144 housed in cases made of molded polycarbonate are suitable for the measurement of AC currents for the frequency range of 15 to 400 Hz and voltages in the frequency range of 15 to 100Hz. Moving iron meters indicate RMS values practically independent of waveform even of high harmonics. An error of indication may occur for extreme waveforms (e.g. phase gating controls) & for frequencies above 100KHz.
These meters offer several advantages in switchboards and generating set panels. A number of meters can be mounted in a panel cutout mosaic mounting. For CT-operated ammeters, dials can be fitted based on CT ratio. Glass and bezel can easily be replaced.
Jewell 80 Series
The Jewell window mount 80 series analog panel meter is designed with a crisp appearance and high visibility. Only the clean lines of the dial face appear on your panel front, providing maximum layout flexibility. This unique space-saving meter saves up to 3 cubic inches behind the panel when compared to “barrel type” meters.
Modutec DW Series Digital Panel Meters
Get digital accuracy with an analog footprint. The DW Series is a cost-effective solution to retrofitting an analog panel cutout with a digital meter. Custom nomenclature available. Easy hook up from the rear with four studs. The MODUTEC DW Series is available as DC and AC Power Monitors and Process Monitors.
Modutec MD & ME Series Edgewise Panel Meters
Useful space-saving meters in two sizes, interchangeable with many costly d’Arsonval meters or moving magnet meters from other sources. All sizes feature flush-to-panel covers without the bulge that disfigures many edgewise meters. A low-cost option provides internal illumination through a translucent dial – sophisticated lighting unusual in any economy meter, let alone an edgewise type.
Jewell FML Series – Frequency Meters
The pointer type frequency meters, FML 96 and FML 144 housed in molded polycarbonate cases are used for the measurement of frequencies in the range of 45 to 450 Hz. For maximum accuracy, the essential measuring range is obtained by suppressing the unwanted frequency span. These instruments offer several advantages in switchboards and panel cut out. A number of meters can be mounted in a panel cut-out (mosaic mounting). The front glass, bezel, and dial can be easily replaced.
Modutec W-Series Windo-mountâ„¢ Panel Meters
Windo-mountâ„¢ is a sophisticated design that has been found universal acceptance since being introduced many years ago by Modutec. The W series meters are easily installed per applications bulletin AB6-1; when so installed the meter cover is flush with the panel surface, with the dial easily read.
W series meters are available in the same ranges and at the same prices as the S series meters. They offer an excellent functional appearance, plus the looks enhancing edge options available. These meters are very popular for stereo and broadcast equipment.
Modutec 1000 Series Digital Panel Meters
The Modutec 1000 takes the guesswork out of reading a small, low-cost, digital panel meter. These meters have an over-range indication of the rated value and auto-zero when there is no input signal. They also feature auto polarity which visually clues the user to a negative reading.
The Modutec 1000 features a 0.3-inch digit display in red or green for hard-to-read applications. Choose from bezel or window mount snap-on bezel – neither of which need extra hardware or panel holes. At 1.34″ x 0.75″ and panel depth less than 0.8″ these meters are easy to read, small units that fit into almost any application.
Jewell 50 Series
The Jewell surface mounted 50 series analog panel meter is designed with traditional black case and glass windows. Black phenolic Bakelite covers and cases suited for industrial equipment. Available in both round and square shapes.
Modutec BL Series
The MODUTEC BL Digital panel meter gives you all the functionality you need with none of the extras you don’t need. That means simplicity, easy readability, a small footprint, and a low cost.
Jewell DGL Series – AC Ammeters/Voltmeters
The moving coil, rectifier panel meters DGL 48/72/96/144 are housed in polycarbonate cases and are suitable for the measurement of AC currents and voltages. Moving coil rectifier instruments measure average values and are calibrated to indicate RMS values, assuming a sinusoidal waveform for frequencies from 40 to 10000 Hz (AC current – 40 to 1000 Hz and AC Voltage – 40 to 10000 Hz). These instruments offer several advantages in switchboards and generating set panels. A number of meters can be mounted in a panel cutout (mosaic mounting). The front glass, bezel, and dial can be easily replaced.
A&M MR Ruggedized Series
Designed and manufactured in conformance with MIL-PRF-10304 (not QPL listed). Ideal for communication or test equipment where severe environmental conditions are encountered. MR34 Long-scale panel meters are ideal for military and commercial applications. Available 1.5″ (MR13), 2.5″ (MR26) and 3.5″ (MR34 & MR35)sizes.
Modutec S-Series Surface Mount Panel Meters
The S Series Surface Mount Panel Meters are clean-cut meters with straightforward design and pleasing aspect ratio are leaders of the Modutec line and add distinction to any instrument or control panel. Available in five sizes and a wide variety of types and ranges, they resolve many problems for the equipment designer and are always a solid choice for function and appearance.
AC Meters in this series are available in both moving coil (rectifier type) and iron vane versions. The latter has the virtue of being relatively insensitive to input distortion, while the rectifier type is less affected by frequency variations.
