ECS eCompass Series
The ECS digital compass represents the state-of-the-art in magnetic compassing. It combines a precision 3-axis solid-state magnetometer and a rugged 2-axis electrolytic tilt sensor to provide accurate heading and tilt measurements over a wide range of environmental conditions. The firmware and signal processing algorithms have been refined and improved over three prior generations of compasses to deliver the ultimate in performance from the available sensor data.
Model 701 Platform Tiltmeter Series
The Model 701-2 Platform mount tiltmeter is our most popular design for high precision tilt measurements. Units come with built-in invar leveling legs, for easy installation on any horizontal surface. The A701-2 also includes two switchable gains and two low-pass filter settings. Using an absolute gravity-referenced electrolytic sensor, the A701 delivers ultra-high sensitivity to <0.1 µrad with virtually zero long-term drift. The output is a stable ±8 DC voltage (±16 VDC differential). The D701 digital version has onboard memory, with a storage capacity of up to 22,000 samples.
ECL eCompass Series
The ECL low-power digital compass is designed specifically for commercial, industrial, and military users. The ECL series will be of particular interest to ROV and AUV manufacturers who are concerned with power usage and accurate heading in all types of challenging conditions. In standby mode, it draws a mere 50 microamps and requires only 15 mA in run mode. It provides accurate heading data in less than a tenth of a second from wake up. An extended range tilt sensor is available that allows for ±60° of pitch and roll.
Model 801 “Tuff Tilt” Tiltmeter Series
The Model 801 “Tuff Tilt” Tiltmeter series combines high precision and durability in an economical instrument package. Using an absolute gravity referenced electrolytic sensor, the 801 series delivers superior measurement accuracy with virtually no long-term drift. Units are available in a variety of configurations including single axis (uniaxial), or dual axis (biaxial), analog, digital, or 4-20mA outputs.
All units are rated IP65 waterproof for advanced protection from the elements.
Emico Series 12
Edgewise compact indicator is frequently used to indicate go/no-go circuit condition or as a miniature null type zero-center tuning indicator to indicate balance in position. 5% Accuracy meters incorporate a moving magnet mechanism. Available size 1.375″.
Modutec 2000 Series Digital Panel Meters
You need flexibility. We provide it. We customize our meters to meet your specifications.
IRIS-SC Digital Signal Conditioning Card
The IRIS-SC digital signal conditioning card is a powerful control device designed for use with all Jewell miniature tilt sensors. Output is ASCII RS-232 or RS-422(485) serial. Standard firmware includes five user-programmable alarm/trigger thresholds for tilts tilt switch/control applications. When a selected threshold is reached, the circuitry sets the output high
on one of the pins in the H3 control connector. Other firmware features include user-programmable data output rates, sample averaging, autozero (nulling), and baud rate. The IRIS-SC can also log up to 22,000 samples to internal memory for data dump/download on user command.
All IRIS-SC units include calibration when ordered with Jewell miniature tilt sensors (specify calibrated range on order).
Modutec 1000 Series Digital Panel Meters
The Modutec 1000 takes the guesswork out of reading a small, low-cost, digital panel meter. These meters have an over-range indication of the rated value and auto-zero when there is no input signal. They also feature auto polarity which visually clues the user to a negative reading.
The Modutec 1000 features a 0.3-inch digit display in red or green for hard-to-read applications. Choose from bezel or window mount snap-on bezel – neither of which need extra hardware or panel holes. At 1.34″ x 0.75″ and panel depth less than 0.8″ these meters are easy to read, small units that fit into almost any application.
DMS Digital MEMS Inclinometer
The model DMS is a mid-level performance digital MEMS inclinometer for industrial applications. Standard units are available in RS-232, RS-485 and UART TTL interface options. All DMS series inclinometers are rated IP67 for waterproofing up to 1m. Custom ranges and output types are also available on request.
Model MD908 ‘IRIS’ Tilt Switch
The IRIS Tilt Switch and Controller is a powerful tilt controller device that combines a digital, dual-axis clinometer and advanced firmware features in one compact unit. This remarkable instrument enables you to measure and respond to rotational movements in any direction concerning the unchanging gravity vector. Units ship standard with a 24-inch hook-up cable. IRIS is an ideal choice for OEM applications, where it can be used to maintain platform levelness, avoid tip-over conditions, prevent out-of-range movement, and perform other control functions.
JDI-100/200 Digital MEMS Inclinometer Series
The JDI-100/200 series is a digitally temperature compensated inclinometer available in single and dual-axis configurations. The robust and rugged design is great for industrial use, yet includes the low-cost MEMS technology. These units are available with DB9, Pigtail, Deutsch, Double Deutsch, 6-Pin Circular (C06), or M12 connectors for maximum versatility.
Jewell DPM 72 x 144
The Jewell DPM 72×144 4½ digit panel meters have been designed for industrial applications which frequently require precise and on-site adjustment of the display range. They are available in DC or AC current or voltage ranges. For use in industrial automation and for laboratory uses.
