Modutec MD & ME Series Edgewise Panel Meters
Useful space-saving meters in two sizes, interchangeable with many costly d’Arsonval meters or moving magnet meters from other sources. All sizes feature flush-to-panel covers without the bulge that disfigures many edgewise meters. A low-cost option provides internal illumination through a translucent dial – sophisticated lighting unusual in any economy meter, let alone an edgewise type.
DXA-100/200 Series Linear Accelerometer
The Jewell DXA-100/200 Series single or dual digital accelerometer takes Jewell’s highly accurate analog closed-loop sensor technology to the next level.

Modutec MAS Series Rectangular Panel Meters
Attractive contemporary designs with the typical Modutec low aspect ratio. All have operating zero adjusters, and scales printed on translucent plastic, permitting beautifully diffused lighting using either the external light kit described in “options” or a custom light source.
Jewell DPM 96 A/V DC
The digital panel meter, DPM 48×96 has been designed for industrial automation and laboratory uses which frequently require precise, onsite adjustment of the display range. With versions available for current (A, B), voltage (C, F) sensors, this panel meter is a cost-effective choice for virtually all switchboard instruments.
*Note: Models AC & T no longer available.
JDI-100/200 Digital MEMS Inclinometer Series
The JDI-100/200 series is a digitally temperature compensated inclinometer available in single and dual-axis configurations. The robust and rugged design is great for industrial use, yet includes the low-cost MEMS technology. These units are available with DB9, Pigtail, Deutsch, Double Deutsch, 6-Pin Circular (C06), or M12 connectors for maximum versatility.
Modutec 1000 Series Digital Panel Meters
The Modutec 1000 takes the guesswork out of reading a small, low-cost, digital panel meter. These meters have an over-range indication of the rated value and auto-zero when there is no input signal. They also feature auto polarity which visually clues the user to a negative reading.
The Modutec 1000 features a 0.3-inch digit display in red or green for hard-to-read applications. Choose from bezel or window mount snap-on bezel – neither of which need extra hardware or panel holes. At 1.34″ x 0.75″ and panel depth less than 0.8″ these meters are easy to read, small units that fit into almost any application.
Modutec MC1 Series – 250° High Torque Taut-Band Movements Meters
Modutec MC1 movements are technically advanced and offer outstanding features not found in other 250° movements. Their unusually small size and their refined taut-band suspension mean high performance in the area of accuracy, tracking, and repeatability. Their unique design includes shock limiters and vibration stops which combined with optional Fluidyne®
viscous damping gives them exceptional durability and stability in difficult environments.
Mounting is usually by means of three tapped brass standoffs which are swaged to either the front or the back of the movement, as ordered, permitting installation within its 1.25″ O.D.
Dials can be mounted to standoffs on the front of the movement; however, MC1 movements are usually ordered with a universal mounting plate (see drawing) installed. This not only serves as a dial mount but also coordinates with the mounting requirements of many domestic and imported movements. Note that front standoffs are not available when the universal mounting plate is installed.
Standard movements come without front and back dust caps. Either or both will be installed when specified on order.
ECC eCompass Series
The ECC-2D Series is a low-cost 2D digital compass in a small package with low power consumption and high reliability designed for commercial and industrial users.
IRIS-SC Digital Signal Conditioning Card
The IRIS-SC digital signal conditioning card is a powerful control device designed for use with all Jewell miniature tilt sensors. Output is ASCII RS-232 or RS-422(485) serial. Standard firmware includes five user-programmable alarm/trigger thresholds for tilts tilt switch/control applications. When a selected threshold is reached, the circuitry sets the output high
on one of the pins in the H3 control connector. Other firmware features include user-programmable data output rates, sample averaging, autozero (nulling), and baud rate. The IRIS-SC can also log up to 22,000 samples to internal memory for data dump/download on user command.
All IRIS-SC units include calibration when ordered with Jewell miniature tilt sensors (specify calibrated range on order).
Modutec World Meter Series – Windo-Mount™ Panel Meters
The World Meters incorporate Modutec’s third-generation taut-band/moving-coil movement – unmatched in any competitive production meter, anywhere – with a space-efficient case and dial configuration that takes about 30% less space than conventional panel meters. The result is a rugged and accurate meter with unique and desirable features, at a very economical price.
Modutec S-Series Surface Mount Panel Meters
The S Series Surface Mount Panel Meters are clean-cut meters with straightforward design and pleasing aspect ratio are leaders of the Modutec line and add distinction to any instrument or control panel. Available in five sizes and a wide variety of types and ranges, they resolve many problems for the equipment designer and are always a solid choice for function and appearance.
AC Meters in this series are available in both moving coil (rectifier type) and iron vane versions. The latter has the virtue of being relatively insensitive to input distortion, while the rectifier type is less affected by frequency variations.
DKA Digital MEMS Accelerometer
Jewell Instruments DKA Series Accelerometers are an excellent choice for cost to performance trade off. The DKA is based on silicon micro-machined MEMS Capacitive Accelerometer technology and designed for low power and high stability.
